Excellent Educational Opportunities

Outstanding Prospects for University and Career

In Secondary School, students move from the closely guided and nurturing environment of Primary School into a broader learning environment that increasingly encourages independence and personal responsibility. Their curriculum expands to include more sciences and languages, and they learn from a wider range of specialist teachers. More opportunities for individualised learning emerge, alongside greater freedom to investigate, learn and experiment independently. Projects and encounters with the world beyond school broaden their horizons. Throughout Secondary School, students work towards their qualifications. Whether pursuing a lower secondary school certificate, an intermediate secondary school certificate, the Fachoberschule (FOS) qualification or the German Abitur, the aim is to provide each student with a broad, high-quality qualification that opens doors beyond school and prepares them to take their next steps with confidence. At the same time, Secondary School remains a supportive environment. Alongside academic learning, teachers, school social workers and psychologists help young people navigate adolescence and the process of finding their own identity. They support students as they grow into adulthood, stand by them in challenging times, and guide them as they discover and showcase their talents and abilities. Each young person is recognised, valued and supported as an individual. Our aim is to help every student reach their full potential and discover the opportunities to develop and realise their abilities. And no one has to do this alone. Secondary School consistently fosters a sense of community and social responsibility, placing the individual within the wider context of a collective “we” and nurturing respect and accountability. Preparing young people for adulthood and the world of tomorrow means combining individualised learning, digital innovation and academic excellence with a wealth of additional projects at an internationally connected school offering several educational pathways. Secondary School is where students take the next step towards fulfilling our guiding vision: Shaping Worlds.

Our Secondary School Team

A dedicated and highly qualified team of around 80 teachers creates a learning environment in which students receive both individual support and appropriate challenges. The focus is on each student’s personal development, enabling everyone to shape their own educational pathway successfully. Small class sizes allow teachers to tailor their approach and provide differentiated support within each class.
