School Bus Service

Safe and Reliable Transport to and from Kindergarten and School

Our school bus service, operated by an external transport provider, connects numerous stops across Shanghai with both German School Shanghai locations. Registered children aged three and above, as well as school students, can travel safely and reliably to kindergarten and school in the morning and return to their designated stops in the afternoon.

Well Cared for Every Step of the Way

In addition to our bus drivers, every bus is accompanied by a trained bus attendant who supervises the children and young people throughout the journey. In the afternoon, attendants escort kindergarten and primary school children to their buses, check that everyone is accounted for and ensure that passengers travel safely and follow the bus rules. The Parent Council’s School Transport Committee also helps coordinate and support the school bus service.

Always in the Know

With our bus monitoring app, parents can check in real time whether their child has boarded the bus and see the bus’s current location. They also receive a push notification shortly before the bus reaches their designated stop. The app also allows parents to cancel their child’s bus journey for individual days and send messages directly to the bus staff.

Well Connected Across Shanghai

Our Eurocampus bus fleet serves destinations throughout Shanghai. Explore our interactive route maps to find the stops for each location: Yangpu Campus Bus Stops Hongqiao Campus Bus Stops Parents can also find complete lists of stops for both locations, including bus numbers and departure and arrival times, via our Parent Portal.

Safety First

How can children stay safe on the bus? Regular safety sessions help kindergarten children and school students understand the bus rules and practise what to do in typical situations.

On Time, Every Day

Our school buses bring children aged three and above to their respective campuses in time for the start of the kindergarten or school day. In the afternoon, the buses depart at scheduled times and take children back to their designated stops.

Ready for School Trips

Our transport provider also makes buses available for school excursions. This allows trips to be organised flexibly and conveniently, while giving children the reassurance of travelling on familiar buses and putting the bus safety rules they already know into practice.
